Cancellation & Refund Policy
In plain terms: paid plans start with a 7-day free trial — cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. After the trial, your plan renews automatically ($89/year or $19.99/month) until you cancel, which you can do anytime in your account. If you're not happy, contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.
Free trial
Paid subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged at all. If you do not cancel, your paid subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and your payment method is charged on day 8. We will email you before the trial ends. The 30-day refund window below runs from that charge date, not from the day you signed up.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — annually ($89/year) or monthly ($19.99/month), depending on the plan you chose — until you cancel. We process billing through Stripe. Applicable taxes may apply.
Founding / launch rate. If you subscribed at a promotional founding or launch rate, that rate is locked for as long as your subscription stays active and uninterrupted — it will not increase at renewal. Any price rise applies only to new subscriptions. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current price applies. This mirrors clause 68 of our Terms of Service.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time:
- Open Billing from your account menu (this opens the Stripe billing portal), and cancel your subscription there; or
- Email hello@solenna.io and we'll help.
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for. Your locally-stored data stays on your device.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full — no questions, no form to fill in. We extended this from 14 days for an honest reason: the part of Solenna worth paying for is the record it builds, and a record needs a few weeks before it shows you anything. A shorter window would be asking you to judge the product before it can be judged. Beyond that window, payments (including renewal charges) are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
EU / UK consumers: you have statutory rights to cancel distance-purchased services. Where you ask us to start a paid service immediately, your statutory withdrawal right may be limited once the service has begun — but the 7-day free trial and the refund window above are designed to give you time to decide without risk.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may pause access to paid features until the payment is resolved. You can update your payment method in the billing portal.
