Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Solenna. The short version: Solenna is an educational brain-health tool, not medical care — it doesn't diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure anything, so always talk to a professional about your health. The free risk profile is free; paid plans start with a 7-day free trial and then auto-renew until you cancel, which you can do anytime. The full terms are below.

By creating an account or using solenna.io (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Solvion Solutions ("Solenna", "we", "us").

1. Important medical disclaimer

Solenna provides educational, risk-reduction information and self-tracking tools only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a medical device, and it does not prevent, treat, cure, reverse, or diagnose Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or any other condition. Using Solenna does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Cognitive and lifestyle steps may reduce risk or delay onset for some people, but individual results vary and no outcome is guaranteed. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions, and never delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read or saw in Solenna. 2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Solenna. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Your account

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at hello@solenna.io of any unauthorised use.

4. The Service and free plan

Solenna offers a free risk profile and result, and paid features (such as the dashboard, ongoing tracking, the full brain workout, your personalised programme, and cloud backup). We may change, add, or remove features over time to improve the Service.

5. Subscriptions, trial, billing, auto-renewal, cancellation & refunds

This section governs paid subscriptions. Please read it carefully.

• Free trial. Paid plans begin with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends and your payment method is charged on day 8. We will email you before the trial ends.
• Pricing & billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on either a monthly or annual basis, at the price shown at checkout. Applicable taxes may be added.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, until you cancel, subject to the founding-rate protection in clause 68 below. By subscribing, you authorise us and Stripe to charge your payment method on each renewal.
• How to cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account's billing settings (which opens the Stripe billing portal) or by emailing hello@solenna.io. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Refunds. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your first payment and we will provide a full refund of that payment. Beyond that window, payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. EU/UK consumers: you have statutory cancellation/withdrawal rights for distance-purchased digital services; where you ask us to begin a paid service immediately, those rights may be limited once the service has started, but your 7-day free trial and the refund window above are designed to give you time to decide.
• Price changes. We may change subscription prices; we will give you reasonable advance notice, and changes apply to the next renewal after the notice.
• Founding / launch rate. If you subscribe at a promotional "founding" or launch rate, that rate is locked and will not increase for as long as your subscription remains active and uninterrupted; any price increase applies only to new subscriptions. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the then-current price applies.
• Non-payment. If a charge fails, we may suspend paid features until payment is resolved.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including no attempting to access other users' data, no reverse-engineering or disrupting the Service, no unlawful use, and no using the Service to provide medical advice to others.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, design, and software, is owned by Solenna or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service. Content you generate (such as your risk-profile answers) remains yours; you grant us the limited licence needed to operate the Service for you.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Supabase (accounts and database), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any health outcome will result from using it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solenna and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any health decision you make. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Solenna against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the Service. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Sweden, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you other rights.
